NOTE: This year’s Gobblers & Gobblettes will consist of two competition days. Novice / Intermediate division is scheduled for Friday night, November 17th and the RX / Advanced division is Saturday, November 18th.

Price increases by $10 every 2 weeks after 9/8/17, so get registered early!

 

Friday – November 17th (Novice/Intermediate Division)

  • Division Type: Teams of 2 (Male/Female)
  • Time: 7PM – 10PM
  • Description:
    • Every team will complete 3 Novice Style Workouts.
    • The top 10 teams will advance to the final rounds and will complete 2 more workouts considered to be intermediate. The scores are completely reset for the intermediate workouts.
  • Minimum Work Requirements: 
    • For the first 3 Novice Workouts:
      • Power Clean – (75/55#)
      • Power Snatch – (65/35#)
      • Thrusters – (65/45#)
      • Men’s Deadlift Ladder – 95/115/135/185
      • Women’s Deadlift Ladder – 55/75/95/135
      • Men’s Box Jump or Step-Up Ladder – 12″/16″/20″/24″
      • Women’s Box Jump or Step-Up Ladder – 4″ Plate, 12″, 16″, 20″
      • Other Skills: Single Unders, Ring Rows, Burpees, Wall Balls (14/10#), Knees-above-waist, Kettle Bell Swings (53/35#), hand release push-ups.
    • For the Top 10 Team who advance to the intermediate round:
      • At least one team member who can do pull-ups
      • Weights will be slightly heavier than listed above.

Saturday – November 18th (RX/Advanced Division)

  • Division Type: Teams of 2 (Male/Female)
  • Time: 8AM – 5PM
  • Description:
    • Every team will complete 3 RX Workouts.
    • The top 20 teams will advance to the final rounds and will complete 2 more workouts considered to be advanced. The scores are completely reset for the advanced.
  • Minimum Work Requirements: 
    • For the first RX Workouts
      • Power Clean – Up to 135/95#
      • Snatches – Up to 115/75#
      • Thrusters – Up to 115/75#
      • Men’s Deadlift Ladder – 135/185/225/275#
      • Women’s Deadlift Ladder – 95/135/155/185#
      • Men’s Box Jump Ladder – 20″/24″/30″
      • Women’s Box Jump Ladder – 16″/20″/24″
      • Other Skills: Double Unders, Rope Climbs, Burpees, Wall Balls (20/14#), Toes-to-Bar, Kettle Bell Swings (53/35#), Kettle Bell Snatches (53/35#), handstand push-ups, toes-to-bar, chin-over bar pull-ups, Rope Climbs.
    • For the Top 20 Teams who advance to the advanced round:
      • Possible Skills: Ring Muscle Ups, Bar Muscle Ups, Handstand Push-Ups, Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups, Ring Dips, Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups.
      • Possible Lifts:
        • Snatch – Up to 155/105#
        • Clean – Up to 225/155#
        • Overhead Squat – Up to 155/105#
        • Shoulder-to-Overhead – Up to 205/135#
        • Front Squat – Up to 205/135#
